Elf Power - Back To The Web (2006)

From Athens, Georgia, Elf Power combine the styles of Folk-Rock and Indie with Eastern influences comprising bajnjo, accordion and clarinet, to give a nice, dark album! Vocals from Andrew Reiger are lyrically mystic, and frequently talks about elfs and wizards. As a generalised full genre, i'd say: medieval-indie-folk-rock. Good stuff, and no doubt a big surprise hit for 2006, dispite being relatively unheard, and on their 8th album! This one widely tipped as the strongest yet, and destined for big things!
